Jeff Patterson is President and CEO of K12 Montana Inc (k12mt.com), a technology leadership and
support consulting firm in Great Falls helping schools, nonprofits and businesses reach their goals
through innovative and cost-effective uses of technology. Jeff and his team work hard every day on their
singular goal: empowering organizations through simple and secure technology.
From 2020 to today, Jeff has designed, architected and is lead engineer for K12 Panel (k12panel.com), a
web-based tool built for the needs of K12 organizations. Panel allows superintendents, principals, clerks
and technologists to work together to plan, budget and control technology across the district. Through
Panel, technologists can manage their entire technology fleet, including cloud-based deployment of
printers and software, helping to reduce the need for costly onsite servers. Panel integrates seamlessly
with school districts Google Workspace for Education and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
Jeff was a founding member of META and has served in a variety of state-wide educational leadership
roles.
Before starting K12 Montana Inc and K12Panel.com, Jeff served as the first Director of Technology at
Great Falls Public Schools. Prior to 2008, Jeff was a senior manager and architect in software
development divisions first at the BestBuy.com headquarters in Minneapolis and then at Nike, Inc.
headquarters in Portland.
Jeff and his wife are both Montana State University Bobcats and live in Great Falls with their two
daughters.
