Laurie Nelson works for the Health Resources Division of the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) as the School Based Services Program Officer for Montana Medicaid. Within this role Laurie is responsible for managing the policy and procedures of Medicaid’s School Based Services Program, including the Medicaid Administrative Claiming Program. Her position does not oversee the Comprehensive School and Community Treatment program. Laurie has worked for DPHHS since 2019 and over the past several years has been learning the various requirements associated with the MAC program. Laurie has six kids and enjoys spending her time in the Montana outdoors.
